I've never been a sickly person.

But apparently I'm allergic as fuck to Louisiana.

I've had sinus infection after sinus infection.

It's really starting to work my last nerve.

The Robinsons were kind enough to make me a hot toddy Monday night.

It was horrible.

But it made my throat stop hurting.

And it made my nose start running.

Congestion is the devil.

I foresee me being in bed all weekend...

the Beach

I don't think people take me seriously when I say I love the beach.

I mean, I'm obsessed.

I'm so accustomed to living close to the beach.

It is my home away from home.

My sweet escape.

I was roughly 2 hours from the beach in Alabama.

& I'm still only 2 hours away from the beach here in Louisiana.

But, I feel like I am sooo far away from it.

Makes me pretty dang sad. 

I doubt I will make it to the beach as much as I did last summer.

But I dang sure am gonna try.

Even if I have to go by myself!

By some miracle I hope to be at the beach this weekend...

Weekend Re-Cap

Friday night was the usual dinner w/Pam & Jeff at Lagniappe.

Followed by daiquiris at Laguna Beach.

Heather even came up and we had a fantastic time!

Saturday Linds & I went to the Strawberry Festival.

It was way too freakin hot but we had a good time.

We got a nice sunburn & lots of yummy strawberries!

Sunday was spent cleaning our bathroom & doing too much laundry.

I also had to go through my boxes in the shed.

I wanted to just throw it all away. ugh

I am Queen Multitasker,

during all that I was also going through my CDs

to try and fill up my iPod.

It was a nice looong weekend.

Five Question Friday

1 - Have you ever had surgery?

I had my wisdom teeth taken out but I don't consider this surgery since I wasn't put under. Some consider the Mirena a surgery but I wasn't even given a local anesthesia. So I guess my only real surgery was Lithroscopy. & it was a horrible experience. Luckily, it was emergency surgery and I didn't have time to fret over it. I wasn't even cut on, even though I did have some very confusing scabs.

2 - Ever ride in an ambulance?

Once, I was rear ended in my car.

3 - How are you in a medical emergency? Panicked? Calm?

If it's me, I panic. Someone else, I try to be calm for them.

4 - Do you have a garden? Flowers or veggies?

No, but I used to and I miss it!

5 - When did you move out of your parent's house?

When I was 18. I went back a few times, when I was 20 and 21.

Horrible Rotten No Good Very Bad Day!

Actually, it's been a pretty shitty week all around.

I've just been in a funk.

Last week I couldn't get my driver's license because I didn't have my new Social Security card or my birth certificate. And I couldn't get tags for my car until I had a license.

So I went back today to try and get it accomplished.

Got my license after they gave me hell about my birth certificate. (It is NOT my fault I was born in 1984 and back then they fixed legal documents by drawing a line through it and making a note saying it was changed. srsly!) He also didn't like that my AL license said Caylor and I was asking for Fox. Dude, I brought my SS card with Fox and my divorce papers saying I got my maiden name back. Do illegal immigrants get this much grief? I doubt it!

Then I was told I couldn't get tags because I didn't have my car title. Why the fuck I wasn't told this last time I was there and they gave me a list of shit I needed, I do not know. I was ill as a hornet.

Also, they want $326 for my tags.

That is more than my car payment. And they're going to have a lot of explaining to do, that cannot be right. How ridiculous!

Once I get all that bullshit taken care of I have to have my car inspected. Which I've never had to do before because Florida and Alabama does not do that. And the way my luck's been going I'm certain I'll have a list of expensive shit to get fixed on my car before the situation is over with.

I also found out today that AE/aerie has fucked up my rewards AGAIN. With the amount of money I spend there, this is NOT acceptable! Second time in a row they have done this. They may be getting boycotted!

On top of all of this I am not handling my weight issues well. I'm sick of struggling.

The boyf will be home tomorrow,

hopefully he can improve my mood.
