The boyf took me to see I Am Number Four.
It was not as good as I wanted it to be.
The last half was amazing.
But the beginning was way too slow.
I did completely swoon when he caught her falling off the roof...


I want to go see Rango this weekend.

Day One

Well, I survived my first day of work.

I got lost on the way there

but I still showed up 30 mins early.

It's a really nice office.

Everyone is super nice.

It's very fast paced

but that may be only bc I'm learning.

Only time will tell I guess.

Overall, I think it's gonne be great.

Except the traffic on the way home.

I went and joined a tanning salon today.

It's not Club Sun by any means.

But they have a standup so I'll make it work.

And it was much cheaper!

I'm so excited for the future!

I did it!

Well, I made it to Louisiana!

They were loaded up and ready to go when I got home from work Friday.

They got a trailer to haul my car so I didn't have to drive.

We did have a blowout on the trailer but it was recovered smoothly.

It was fixed while we ate.

We got in about 1am I believe.

We started early Saturday unloading the truck.

And then unpacking everything.

We got it all done in one day. WOO HOO

Granted, I have a lot of boxes in the shed.

But it's nothing I need right now.

I finally got to meet Lindsey's boyfriend.

They're the cutest couple ever.

Kinda makes me want to throw up.

The boyf went to a concert that night.

So I went to a party w/Linds at her boyf.

Learned how to play beer pong.

Won my very first game.

I was real excited about that.

I had a daiquiri before I knew I'd be drinking beer.

I ended up quite inebriated.

One day I will learn to watch my alcohol intake

when I haven't eaten enough food in the day.

Jarrod came over when he was done with the concert.

We got a hotel for the night.

We'd only seen each other 4 times in 5 months...

Had lunch with his parents and sister today.

Then did some shopping and found my new job.

I'm very nervous about that.

I haven't been in this position in 4 years. ugh

More on that tomorrow...

Stop. Panic Time.

I'm starting to panic.

I cried all the way to work yesterday.

But then I got over it.

I just had a few realizations.

Like how I'd been surviving on my own.

Without a stitch of help from anyone.

I know this is what I want.

It's what I've wanted for quite some time.

I'm just scared of the BIG UNKNOWN.

But I do know that as soon as I get there,

all these feelings will be gone

and there will be no looking back!

What's on my phone?!

I will miss seeing this in Enterprise.

I will not miss "hearing" them though.

I tried to put hearts on my nails.

As you can see, I settled for polka dots.

Tattoo Time

I've been trying to forget it's there.

But, it's very hard to do.

The tanner I get, the fainter it is.

But, it's on my wrist.

I still see it.

Everyday.

It's time for it to go.

I'm determined to have it gone within the week.

I've only put it off so long

because idk what I'm going to cover it up with.

First it was as cupcake,

then a fleur de lis,

then a sailor anchor.

Ah, decisions decisions.

Don't ever do what I did girls.

It was a huge mistake.

Maybe look at it as a setup to failure. ha!

For those of you who don't know,
I have a "K" on my wrist. lame!

Mostly because I've never had a guy make it special.

Well, I just got tickes to see them again!

Yep, sooo excited.

May 14th in Atlanta.

I'm also hoping to see them at

the Jazz Fest in New Orleans on April 30

but that one is still up in the air.

(I'm pretty positive I'll go.)

After this tour they've said they're taking a break.

And they're old so I fear they won't be coming back after this break.

That makes me sad.

Makes me want to see them as much as possible!

Let the countdown begin!

Pamper Me

I needed to go the gym last night.

But I don't go without the Bestie,

and she had a case of the

prego tiredness syndrome.

(bless her, Lord knows I didn't really wanna go.)

So, I pampered myself all night instead.

I decided at work that I wanted bangs.

I asked the Bestie to cut them, she declined.

I played with them for a while and realized

hey, I still have bangs!

I've been parting my hair all wrong.

So, after some adjusting

and LOTS of hairspray

I got my hair how I wanted it to look.

Yes, I know it needs training.

And yall know I love my ponytail...

But I'm pretty excited to see how it works out.

I plan on a cut and color as soon as I get to LA.

(LA means Louisiana.

 Yes, people have been thinking I'm moving to California.)

Then I did my nails.

I paid $45 for a gel manicure last weekend.

I had them put First Mate on it.

Bitch didn't use a base coat.

My $45 gel nails are stained blue.

eff.my.life.

Anyway, I wanted to do hearts for Vday.

Ha! That didn't work so well.

My fingers will be getting repainted tonight.

I also did a facial.

It was way over due.

Than I took a steaming hot bubble bath and went to bed.

It was a joyeous night!

Twilight Fandom

It's been a while since I've fangirled it up.

I don't check the Twilight blogs like I used to.

But when I do, things like this happen:

Yep, less than 2 weeks and I'll be in Louisiana.

My parents came to visit this weekend.

I won't get to see them as often since it'll be a 9 hour drive.

(It's only 5 right now.)

It hit me when they left Sunday,

"OH SHIT, I'M REALLY DOING THIS!"

I'm kinda nervous.

Not bad nervous, just nervous.

This is a huge step for me,

and hopefully it's in the right direction.

If not, next stop is Padang, Sumatra.

(t's on the Equator. I need warmth.)

Hello, February!

Gosh, January just flew right by me!

It started out right,

with a visit from the boyf.

Then I got stressed out

& really sick.

It was bad.

I gave a 4 weeks notice at work.

(& got a job in Baton Rouge today!)

I spent bestie's birthday with her.

And I gained a lot of the weight I had lost, back.

I'm talking 12 pounds in 3 weeks. ugh

But February has lots of promise

and I can't wait to live it up!
