Seaside w/the Bestie

Saturday was a good day.

Even though it started out kinda shitty...
Usually we start all our trips w/McDonald's in Enterprise.
For whatever reason "let's just stop at the one in Geneva" came out of my mouth.
And sure the fuck enough the one person I was not mentally ready to see was there.
(no, it was not Kevin!)
I almost died right there. On the spot.
BUT Marianne finally got to see him.

Pics at the state line picked up my mood.

It was sprinkling when we got to Seaside,
but we didn't let it stop us from shopping.

We had some marvelous cupcakes.

& started some best friend charm bracelets.

We were soaked by the end of the day.
Totally worth it though!

1. The most adventurous thing I've ever done is The Big Shot & The X Scream on top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. I have no idea what came over me but I did it with my Mom in 2004, at night which I'm pretty sure made it even MORE scary. It was insane crazy. After that, I was pretty much not scared of any thrill ride.

2. If I were a pair of shoes I would be Reef Flip Flops.


3. My preferred mode of digital communication is texting. I cannot stand talking on the phone. It is basically my number one pet peeve.


4. I feel happiest when I am with friends and family having a good time.


5. A little dream I have for my life is to travel. I'm currently making a list. Maybe I'll share it one day...


6. The one modern convenience I could NOT do without is Google. It is a life saver. srsly


7. Music, movies, TV or books: Movies. Take Charlie St. Cloud for example: I could not get through the book but enjoyed the movie.

Thought I'd show you an example of previously mentioned spending habit...

First, bee eff eff and I went to Pizza Hut.
1 - it's too expensive
2 - I did not need pizza

Second, we went to the Dollar Tree.
1 - silly bands, I'm addicted
2 - crackers, get in my belly
3 - ring pops, I just felt like I needed them
4 - diaper bags, for an "un named" baby (hint hint Talisa!)
5 - conditoner, I did need this and it for real smells just like Biolage

& honestly, that's probably $20 worth of stuff if I'd went to Wal-Mart!

Random News

I've been trying to live single life to the fullest.
My problem seems to be money.

I spend it on stupid stuff,
like CDs and perfume I don't need.
Oh, and food I most def do not need.

Anyway, I have sooo much stuff to look forward to.
But I'm nervous at the same time because of money.

Yes, I have 2 jobs.
But I also have bills,
that include a massive car payment.

I somehow have to figure out money management.
Yes, I have a savings account. I think it consists of $17.

It's hard going from being married and having money to be single and only having your own. haha

Anyway, off with that sadness.

Next weekend is the Chik-fil-A bowl in Atlanta.
I'll be going with my dad. All the details aren't worked out yet but I may be spending the rest of the weekend with my Aunt.

It's also the weekend Marianne leaves to go home for 2 weeks.
I'm gonna be sooo bored and miss her sooo much!

Then the weekend of Sept 19 is Kimmi's baby shower.
I'll be headin home to Louisiana for that and I am sooo excited to see everyone.
Last time was my bridal shower in 2007.
& before that was like freshman year! whoa
I cannot wait to catch up with everyone.
It also happens to be my niece's birthday,
I cannot wait to see her!
Maybe I can steal her and bring her home with me!

Weekend of October 9 I'm supposed to go to NC w/Marianne.
Super excited about this too!
I can't wait to see her old stomping grounds and have a good old fashioned girl's road trip!

I really want to plan something for my birthday weekend but I have not decided yet.
Part of of me really wants to go to New Orleans.
Part of me wants to go to Las Vegas.
Part of me wants to go on a cruise.
And part of me wants to go to Disney World...

On top of all this, I'm trying to figure out how to get to Japan to see Yani!
Plane tickets are not as bad as I thought they'd be, but getting a dang passport is quite frustrating!

Perfume Update

I smelled a million perfumes this weekend.
I am not joking.

Finally, I found one I loved.
Then I remembered that I really wanted The One, by Dolce & Gabbana.
So, I stood there smelling both of them over and over and over.

& finally decided:

It's amazing.
It's true love.

IDK if it's a fall scent like I supposedly need.
I'm not one of those seasonal perfume (or clothes) people.
Maybe one day, but not right now.

1. My favorite current TV show is Jersey Shore.
I didn't watch the first season (mostly bc I was married and not allowed to watch reality tv or basically anything I wanted to) but I seen previews for Season 2 and thought, "omg, those fuckers are HOT." So, it's become a ritual for me to go to Marianne's on Thursday nights and watch Jersey Shore. Yes, it's stupid and they may be dumb but it is enterfuckingtaining.

2. The TV character I can relate to most is JWOWW.
I am kidding. Kind of.
I couldn't think of anyone else! haha
But really, our opinions are the same, we think alike.

3. My life is like (fill in with TV show and why).... Jersey Shore.
I'm boring you, I know.

The last 2 seasons have let me down, but I'm still faithful.

5. A TV show that is ridiculously stupid, but I continue to watch is The Bachelorette. When it's on, of course. I got sucked in but seriously men DO NOT act like that. That's why it's STUPID.

6. My favorite TV couple is Ehlena/Damon/Stephan.

7. One TV episode I could watch over and over again is season finale of SYTYCD from the season Jeanine won.

Good News!

Had my follow-up today.
I was super duper nervous.

Luckily, the doc thinks all the stones are gone.
There was a tiny blip on the xray but he's really confident that it's not a stone as it does not look like my previous xray.

I am obsessed with perfume.
I am not one of those who buy a bottle and use it til it's empty.
I have to have variety. I want something diff every day.
Which means I have quite a bit of perfume.
